They have a simple mind based on Babbage’s analytical engine which decides whether or not to destroy the object in front of it. They run on water and pressureized coal fuel. As backup power they have a collection system that takes in the Fog, and separates it into water and fuel. The robots use a combination of reflective seismology and sonar to see.
